Arrival at Skopje Airport
Pick-up from Skopje Airport and transfer to Skopje. Short sightseeing of the city and briefing with dinner & overnight.
Skopje-Vodno-Matka-Mavrovo
Morning departure to Mount Vodno. A bus ride to the middle and with the cable car to the Millennium Cross. Start walking to the Matka Lake (approx. 3-4 hours), with a stop at the monastery of St.Nikolas. Arrival at the Matka Lake and a boat ride to the Vrelo Cave. After that, we have our lunch in the local restaurant. Depart for Mavrovo Lake for our overnight.
Mavrovo-Ohrid
Moring walking to mount Bistra overlooking Lake Mavrovo from the starting point Carevec and we finish in the village of Jance (approx. 4-5 hours). Continue to the monastery of John the Baptist for lunch. Continue to Ohrid for overnight.
Ohrid – Kalambaka
We have morning departure to the village of Velestovo where we start with our walking and we finish in Pestani, enjoying the beauties of Galicica. After lunch, we depart to Kalambaka for dinner and overnight.
Meteora-Kalambaka
A full day enjoying the hiking and walking trails of Meteora. Visit one of the monasteries and enjoy the simplicity of the place. Overnight in Kalambaka.
Kalambaka - Thessaloniki
We have another walk and soon after, we depart to Thessaloniki. On route, we will stop again to visit the Vergina archeological site (the grave of Phillip II of Macedon, Alexander the Great’s father) and continue to Thessaloniki. Arrival at Thessaloniki, accommodate and later we have a short sightseeing walk in the city center. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Thessaloniki – Mount Olympus
We have all day to enjoy and walk in this beautiful mountain, the mountain of the Goods and Olympus N.P. In the afternoon we are coming back to Thessaloniki and we have free time.
Thessaloniki – Bansko
Upon arrival accommodate and stroll through the town for some sightseeing. Depending on the hour of arrival possibility for a ride (depending on if the cable car is open) to the top for some light walking and hiking in Bansko. Dinner and overnight.
Bansko-Rila Monastery-Paniciste
Morning departure to the mountains near Bansko for hiking and walking (3-4 hours). Return in Bansko and continue to Rila Monastery for sightseeing and lunch. From here we continue to Panichiste for overnight and prepare for the next day.
Hiking 7 lakes
We head off to the cable car near Pionerska Hut that will take us to the top of the mountain. We hike/walk around for 3-4 hours to visit all 7 lakes of this amazing mountain. Return with cable car back for lunch and continue to Sofija.
Sofia – Sofia Airport
Depending on departure time short sightseeing of Sofia and check out. Departure to Sofia Airport.
